Kenan Rabah has been baking professionally for the past 6 years … and unprofessionally since he was able to reach his mom’s countertops. His role as head baker at Lost Bread Co. took his passion for baking to new levels, giving him the skill and confidence needed to start his own venture.
Majdal Bakery has been a dream of his ever since he moved to the United States in 2015. He comes from the Golan Heights — Syrian territory under Israeli occupation.
Due to this political situation, most of the people who live there don’t have a legal nationality. It simply says “undefined” on travel documents. His dream with Majdal Bakery is to present this amazing culture and its food in the best way he knows how, which is through baking.
